Who am I?
My "other" rides: 2006 Toyota Tacoma D-Cab Sport Pre-Runner, 2005 Toyota SR5 4Runner, 1998 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner
Gripes:
To majority of the moped shops I've inquired for PUCH parts in Honolulu, Hawaii and the mainland USA over the years
(1987-1998)...thanks for NOTHING!!
If someone paid me a nickle for every stupid look or remark given to me for asking about specific Puch parts availability (when
walking in a shop or by phone)... I'd be pretty damn rich!!

The "WWW" internet is here and online parts are plentiful nowadays!!
Well, back then it was:
* Oh, they don't make those (Puch) parts anymore... (is it because shops nowadays are called moped shops & the only thing they
sell/cater to are "plastic-paneled" scooters with "NO" pedals???  MO - PED look up definition!!
* Never heard of that brand....(Zeta, Autisa, Metrakit, Gilardoni)
* 20-21 front & 28-32 rear sprocket... NO such thing, who told you that?? (must wonder why I have them!!)
* The largest bore made that can fit is a 70cc. (probably just a "bolt-on" shop with no tuners)
* Rigid Maxi "'N" frames are garbage!!.....Are you serious??  Many collectors/builders nowadays... Hmmm, why is that?????
* Puch NEVER made a Maxi with a disc brake! (see image)
* Kickstart (E50) motor...No such thing. (Ok!)
* Magnum MKii LTD. tachometer, that was only a myth!! (so WHY do I have tachs on my dash??)
* MKii LTD. dash parts, huh, good luck finding them! (Duh, I found source!!)
* Why do you bother fixing that thing (Puch), why don't you try a Tomos instead?? (here we go....NOT the "T" word!!)
* One shop even told me that Puch mopeds are NOW called Tomos....WTF!!  I'll Post the name if I remember.

Kinda tells you where my drive to get (HTF) Hard-To- Find parts and my style of building comes from for the past 18+ years.  I
must be doing something right, since the shops that I once made inquiries for specific Puch parts have asked (repeatedly by e-mail)
where I source my parts from, and my thoughts are.... you were no help to me & on top of that you made some kind of s2pid
remark or look when I asked.  Well, for the shops that have helped out in the past... THANK-YOU!!!

Other B.S. on my mind!!
I notice alot of people asking how to "make" their bike quicker..........  So whatever happened to trial & error by experimenting???
That's how I learned!!!  Too many
LAZY asses skipping the learning phase.  Nobody told me how to mod engines when I began
wrenching... that alone made me want to learn more.  It's amazing what can be gained by reading along with
lots-of trial & error.
Why would I want to make it easy for you???

Secondly, I really enjoy watching people "bad-mouth" products if they have negative results with the item.  For example: exhaust
brands, cylinder kits, crankshafts, ZA50 engines and more.  A lot of times I think it's a matter of their mechanical ability and not the
item.
